As Digital Director for Waitrose, Ben led the mission to treble the size of Waitrose’s online business and the transformation of the organisational culture to achieve this.
Prior to this, he was Retail Director for Waitrose for three years with overall responsibility for leading the company’s portfolio of shops, eCommerce sites and foodservice operation.
Before joining Waitrose, Ben held senior positions at Sky television. Ben has just completed a ten-month stint at NHS Test&Trace as Chief Customer Officer, where he held responsibility for the NHS Covid-19 App and created the UK’s asymptomatic ‘multi-channel’ testing offer.
He holds non-executive roles with Premier Marinas (wholly owned by the Wellcome Trust), the Youth Sport Trust, and is a former Chair of the Nationwide Building Society’s Charitable Foundation.
