Tom joined P&G in the UK in 1996. He spent the first 5 years in the UK, with early experiences including the somewhat infamous launch of Sunny Delight. The second phase of his career was in Geneva, where he had spells in both Sales and Marketing as well as developing a passion for the Alps. He returned to the UK in 2004, working through a number of roles including running the Beauty Division and Corporate Sales Director before becoming Managing Director in 2015. The UK was P&G’s first overseas subsidiary and remains a critical global market for the Cincinnati headquartered company today. P&G has over 4000 Employees in Northern Europe, operating 6 manufacturing and distribution sites, 8 offices and 3 R&D Centres. The organisation runs about 30 leading brands, including Olay, Pantene, Always, Head & Shoulders, Aussie, Ariel, Herbal Essences, Fairy, Tampax, Pampers, Gillette and Oral B. At least one of those brands is present in 98% of UK homes.
Tom is married with three children and lives in Surrey.
