Boughey Distribution specialises in consolidated grocery logistics and works with some of the UK’s largest retailers. As well as operating a fleet of 170 vehicles and 1.5m sq ft of warehousing, the company provides bespoke value-added services for food industry customers including consolidation, e-commerce and contract packing.

The company operates out of Cheshire and Staffordshire and works with a number of the UK’s largest retailers including Tesco, Aldi and Sainsbury’s.

Boughey’s successful track record has been built on establishing long and fruitful relationships with customers, often running into decades. At the centre of these cemented partnerships has been a commitment to listening and adapting to customer needs, which has led to significant growth in the company’s value-added services offering.

A team of 1,000 colleagues is led by Managing Director, Angela Carus, and one of her priorities is ensuring that colleagues know that they are valued by the company and that this is highly visible.

In 2024, the year the company celebrated its 60th anniversary, it achieved B Corp Certification, opened a new 332,000 sq ft warehouse in Newcastle-under-Lyme and reached record turnover.

Alongside ambitious growth plans, the company is committed to on-going investment in facilities, fleet and systems development.
