Walter was born and raised in London, and is married with three sons.

He started his career in the family catering business and, in 1982, he moved to Conserve Italia, Europe’s largest processor of fruit and vegetables where in 1993 he became Managing Director of the UK subsidiary.

In 2000, Walter joined SALOV SpA and established Filippo Berio UK Ltd, making Filippo Berio what it is today.

Walter is passionate about food and all things Italian, especially convertible Alfa Romeos
